Candice Marie Kenney of Longmont, formerly of Boulder, died of heart failure Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, in Longmont. She was 56.
The daughter of Russell F. Kenney and Marguerite Biggert Kenney, she was born Nov. 29, 1947, in Milwaukee.
Ms. Kenney lived in Boulder County since 1975.
She worked for various companies through Labor Source of Boulder and for Johnny Carino's Italian Restaurant in Longmont.
Ms. Kenney enjoyed music, singing and dancing, the holidays, good food, her family, wild hats, sparkling jewelry and stuffed animals.
"Candy built an incredible life," her family said. They said she was blessed with having her caregivers from Carmel Community Living helping her.
Survivors include her father of Boulder; her mother, Marguerite Mitchell of Capitola, Calif.; a brother, David Kenney of Aurora; and five sisters, Gail Kenney of Loveland, Michelle Ellinot of Santa Cruz, Calif., Beth Oram of Lafayette, Erin Pappas of Grand Junction and Terri Blanchette of Capitola, Calif.
A funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14th St., Boulder. The Rev. Bill Breslin will officiate.
