Everett D. “Butch” Anderson Jr., of Lexington, died April 7, 2105, at the age of 70.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, 1000 B Ave.,West Columbia, SC 29169. Pastor Wade Roof and Pastor Ed McDowell will conduct the services. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 24, 1945, in Columbia. He was a son of the late Everett Dees Anderson Sr. and Grace Childers Anderson. Butch was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas in the Fleet Maintenance Center.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Jo Ellen Anderson; daughter, Michelle Anderson Berry (Frank) and son, Carroll Rhett Anderson (Kristin); grandchildren, Caleb Berry, Tanner Anderson, Trevor Anderson, Miranda Halaby and Andrea Halaby; sisters, Barbara Raulerson and Shirley Miles (Jimmy); brother, Mike Anderson (Kelly); several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tony Dwayne Ballance.
