Abel Luna Ayala passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Watsonville California. He was 36 years old.
Abel was born at Watsonville Community Hospital to Guadalupe and Ramiro Luna on March 28, 1980. He was the youngest of 5 children. After the passing of his parents at the age of 1 year, Abel was adopted by his late maternal grandparents, Irene and Luis Ayala Sr. Abel and his siblings were also cared for by their beloved late aunt, Ruth Ayala.
Abel is survived by his siblings: Leticia (Miguel) Tapia, Luis (Yahaira) Ayala III, Michael Ayala and Veronica Ayala; his lifelong friend Joseph Martinez; two half brothers Nick and David Luna, all of Watsonville; his nieces and nephews: Luis Anthony, Bianca and Jayden Ayala, Jordan and Isabella Netto, Miguel Tapia, David, Michael, Andre, Davina, Xenia and Helene Luna; his 3 daughters, Isabella, Cheyenne and Amaya; his girlfriend Valarie Gonzalez and her 3 children: Joziah, Delilah and Gilbert Anthony.
Abel was a truck driver by trade and loved to spend time with his friends, cheer on the 49ers and ride his Harley. Abel was well known for his amazing smile and his devotion to his friends.
Visitation will be held at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 5pm-9pm. Services will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 9 am at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
