Born in Greenville on January 15, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Alexander and William Edward Cowart.
Judy loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren; they were her world. Judy was a caretaker and always put others above herself. She would give a stranger the shirt off her back. She loved Jesus and was ready to see her sweet mom in heaven when God was ready for her.
She is survived by three daughters, Tracy Towe (Robbie), Sharon Sheriff (Kenneth), and Kendall LaFlamme; one son, Brian Shook (Charleigh); eight grandchildren, Shea, Zach, Cole, Madison, Kalee, Madi, Abby and Peyton; two sisters, Sandra Forrester and Patricia Etris; and one brother, Robert Joy.
She is predeceased by one sister, Joan Mote; and two brothers, Billy and Danny Cowart.
