He was born November 18, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was of the Christian Faith, a member of the Flight Masters in Barling, Arkansas, a lifetime member of the NRA, a Marine Corp Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.

He is survived by his wife Penny of the home, his step-mother Julia Kerr of Iowa, four sisters; Debbie Daley of New York, Theresa Kerr and Julie Wells both of Iowa and Debra Baty of Oklahoma, four brothers; Kenny Kerr of Iowa, Quincy Kerr and Stacy Kerr both of Florida and Dave Carson of Fort Smith.

Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, Arkansas with Interment to follow with Military Honors at the U.S. National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hoyle, Bobby Coutu, Robert Waite, Robert Salisbury, John Duncan and Ronnie Burns.
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Age Spots, nieces and nephews, Great nieces and nephews, Philip Baker, Felipe Aguilar, and Scott Hoyle.
Arrangements under direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith.
