Frank De Luca
PUTNAM - Frank Roger De Luca, 76, of Lake Thunderbird, Putnam, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 9:45 p.m. at his home in Putnam.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henry.
Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Fr. Michael Schaub will officiate.
Cremation rites will follow the mass.
Burial will be at later date at St. Francis Cemetery in Putnam.
Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Henry is in charge of arrangements.
Frank was born April 24, 1940, in Racine, WI, to Louis and Linda (Ricchio) De Luca Sr.
He was united in marriage to Gretchen Horn on August 1, 1964, in Racine, WI.
This past August they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
Surviving are his wife, Gretchen;
three children, Carolyn (Bill) Garske of Camden, ME, and Anthony (Susan) De Luca and Kenneth (Laura) De Luca, both of Germantown Hills;
grandchildren, William and Jared Garske, Lauren and Frank De Luca and Hannah, Heather and Seth De Luca; and
brothers, Arthur De Luca of Crooked Lake, WI, and Kenneth De Luca, of Dallas, TX.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents;
brothers, Louis Jr. and Richard De Luca; and
sisters, Ersilia Nielsen and Linda Treiber.
Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, the north woods, new cars and talking with everyone he met. Frank was owner of Engineered Equipment Sales.
Frank had served his country in the United States Army National Guard and the 32nd Infantry Division. He served from 1961 to 1964. He also was a member of the Crooked Lake Lions Club and was a volunteer firefighter.
