Victor Ray Acosta, 55, was born April 4, 1960 to the late Ramiro Muniz Acosta, Sr., Aurora and Mike Vanegas from Corpus Christi, Texas.

He went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on March 4, 2016 in Manvel, Texas after a long illness.

Victor served 4 years in the U. S. Navy and was Honorably Discharged on December 19, 1983.

He is survived by his loving mother, Aurora Vanegas; sons, Victor Acosta, Jr. and Ana Acosta, Rolando Arizmendez; daughters, Andrea Acosta and Jose Montejano, Lissa Acosta and Omar Vasquez, Matilde Arizmendez; and ten grandchildren, Dylan Ray Acosta, Jr., Maximo Luera IV, Madeline Luera, Daisy M. Vasquez, Zoe Montejano, Anthony Vasquez, Lilly Vasquez, Marisol Vasquez, Jose Montejano III and Rose Vasquez; sisters, Marie Khalil and Veronica Hernandez; brothers, Ramiro Acosta, Gabriel Acosta, Mark Acosta, Robert Lee Acosta, Rudy Vanegas and Michael Vanegas.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at South Park Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at South Park Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the chapel.
