William J. Hall
William J. Hall, 79, of South Gate, Calif., a former resident of East Liverpool, died Sunday in California, where he had lived since 1943. Mr. Hall was born March 27, 1895, in New Matamoras, a son of James M. and Hana A. Gill Hall. He moved to East Liverpool in 1909. He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Huntington Park, Calif., and the Knights Templar in Fullerton, Brea and Santa Ana, Calif. He was an honorary member of the International Brotherhood of Pottery and Allied Workers and a lifetime member of the American Poultry Association. He was a genera licensed A.P.A. judge and a member of the Pacific Coast Bantam Club and the Rosecomb Bantam Federation. Mr. Hall is survived by a step - daughter, Mrs. Marion Miller of East Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. Edith A. Rosenburg of Huntington Park; a brother, Simon C. Hall of Hookstown and Sarasota, Fla., and several nephews and nieces. Services will be held Wednesday at the Biby and Belyea Mortuary in South Gate, with burial in the Rose Hill Memorial Cemetery in Whittier.
