A native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Shane was born on May 31, 1987. Shane was a son of Michelle Caruso, New Iberia, and Richard Adams, Schuylkill Haven.
He attended Pottsville schools. Shane was residing in New Iberia at the time of his death, and was a deckhand with Louisiana Marine Operations. Shane was kind-hearted and loving. He would be one of the first to lend a helping hand. He was very family-oriented. He was always fixing something and loved fishing, hunting and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John J. Adams, and maternal grandparents, Anthony and Ann Caruso.
He is survived by a paternal grandmother, Dolores Adams, Pottsville; siblings, Asia Adams Louviere and husband, Derrick, Ashley and Holley, all of New Iberia, Alan, Cody, Nicole, Tristan and Angela, all of the Pottsville area; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Free Church, 101 Graeff St., Cressona. Pastor Josh Ott will officiate.
