Cecil Evart Tyndall, 98, of Carr Settlement passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at Tendercare of Ludington.
He was born on Feb. 19, 1918 in Carr Settlement, son of the late Perry and Ida (Miller) Tyndall. Cecil married Bertha Masten on Sept. 8, 1937 in Fountain. She preceded him in death on September 19, 1990. He later married Clementine (Serba) Tatarchuk on February 14, 1996. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2010.
Cecil is survived by his sons Duane (Mary Ann) Tyndall and Byron (Verna Gene) Tyndall; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bertha; second wife, Clementine; two brothers; five sisters.
Funeral services for Cecil will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with Pastor Norman Letsinger officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place in the spring of 2017 at McCumber Cemetery.
