He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Vigil Lucero; daughters: Melinda, Natasha and Amber Lucero; grandson: Dominic Bruce Lucero; father and mother: Leroy Lucero Sr. and Polly Lucero; brothers and sisters: Bernadette Gallegos and husband Carlos, Leroy Lucero Jr. and Wife Sandra, Marco Lucero and wife Sandra; nieces and nephews: Dominic Gallegos and fiancé Monica, Andrea Lucero, Derek Lucero, Lukas Lucero and Lorinda Lucero; extended survivors include the Lucero and Ortega families from the Cerro Gordo area and many who loved him.
