Linda Faye Sivils, 65, passed away on Jan. 23, 2017 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

The daughter of Lewis Norman and Evelyn Catherine Jones, Linda was born on March 15, 1951 at Humansville. She worked for Farm Credit Services until her retirement and thereafter enjoyed part-time employment at Wal-Mart in Bolivar. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and liked tending the plants in her flower garden, which drew compliments from neighbors, and took pleasure in the company of her dog Skippy. She also made frequent trips to provide for the needs of her aging mother.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by daughters Calley Sivils of the home and Holly Hurd of Chillicothe, her brother Randy Jones and wife Donna of Bolivar, her sister Nancy and husband David Taylor of Salisbury, Mo., and twin nieces Tristen and Torre Taylor, also of Salisbury.

Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow services following the services in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
