Ethel V. Wiseman

Ethel V. Wiseman, 94, of Seward St., Dansville, died Sunday, April 9, 1995 at Noyes Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the widow of the late Daniel Raymond Wiseman.

Ethel was born in Sparta May 10, 1900, the daughter of the late Edward and Louise Whiteman Applin.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Wiseman had been employed at the Brae Burn Recreation Center and the Old Madrid Restaurant. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris (Robert) Conway of Dansville; two sons, Jack of Oregon and Robert (Colleen) of Dansville; one brother, Harry Applin of Dansville; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends called Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Chamberlin Funeral Home Inc., 73 Main St., Dansville, where a funeral service was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Swanson officiating. Burial took place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
