Funeral services for Mrs. Susanna (Nicholas) Wells, 91 years old, of Crestline, Kansas were held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church in Crestline. The Rev. R. Goodrich of Neosho officiated and burial was in Messer cemetery, south of Crestline. Mrs. Wells died Friday night after a long illness. She is survived by four sons, Fred and Lawrence "Arch" Wells of Crestline, Otis C. Wells of Baxter Springs, and Lee "Roy" Wells of Trona, San Bernardino, California. She was preceded in death by her husband San Francisco "Tant" Wells, Lulu Wellman of Lowell, Kansas, Jennie Ferguson of Los Angeles, California, Ora "Peany" Wells, Noah Wells and infants Julia Ann and Mable Wells.
