Gary Don VanAusdall, Sr., age 59, passed away on January 22, 2017.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Trinity Worship Center with Ronnie Shoffner, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Gary was born on January 15, 1958 in Amarillo to Donald Gene and Mary Lou (Byars) VanAusdall. He enjoyed going to sporting events, and loved the Dallas Cowboys and going fishing.
Above all else, Gary loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Bridges) VanAusdall of Childress;
two sons, Gary Van Ausdall, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Childress, and Jeremy Van Ausdall of San Antonio;
one daughter, Misty Hernandez and husband, Fevin of Childress;
one brother, Edwin Van Ausdall of Childress;
nine grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Worship Center at 209 Ave J SE, Childress, TX 79201, or to CRMC Hospice at PO Box 1030, Childress, TX 79201.
