Lucille J. Gorden, 84, died Monday, July 26, 1999, at Pekin Hospital.
Born July 5, 1915, in Green Valley to Charles and Ida Coryell Forbes, she married Charles H. Gorden on Feb. 15, 1933, in Green Valley. He died Nov. 15, 1967, in Pekin.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Barbara (Verden) Armbrust of Pekin; three sons, C. Gary (Cathy) Gorden of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Alan (Carol) Gorden and Dennis Gorden, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one sister, Mary Shay of Mason City.
She was a member of Pekin Bible Church.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
