CONNERSVILLE - Rosie L. McCreary, 40, R.R. 8, Connersville, died Friday morning at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a two week illness.
She was employed at Ford Aerospace and Communication for many years and was a member of Little Flat Rock Christian Church. She lived in New Salem in Rush County until 1962 and lived in the Connersville area the past several years. She was born in Rushville and graduated from New Salem High School.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Gordon Shewmaker, Tucson, Arzona; one son, Randy McCreary of Connersville; one daughter Lisa Pope of Shreveport, LA.; two brothers, Tom Shewmaker of Decatur, Texas and Bill Shewmaker of Moberly, Mo.; and one sister, Barbara Kennedy of Shelbyville. Her father, William Shewmaker, is deceased.
Funeral service for Rosie L. McCreary will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster & Sons Mortuary in Rushville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. The Rev. Victor Koontz will officate.
