Connie G. Long, 78, of Bluffs, passed away Tuesday, Jan 17, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born, May 5, 1938 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Lowell and Mary Frances Doyle Parrack. She married Robert G. Long on Feb. 8, 1958, in Monmouth.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; children: Kevin (Pam) Long of Cissna Park, Kelly (Robert) Sheppard of Pittsfield, Matt (Becky) Long of Camp Point, and Scott (Candice) Long of Springfield; seven grandchildren and sister-in-law, Joyce Parrack of Pittsfield. One brother, Robert Parrack, preceded her in death.

Connie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church near Bluffs. She enjoyed attending ballgames coached by her husband and sons. She had a generous heart and was always ready to help other. Most of all, she was a living wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services were held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church near Bluffs with interment at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.
