Willie Mae Sophie Nemec, 88, passed away on November 11, 2007 in Houston, Texas.

She was born on April 25, 1919 to Victor and Frances Adam in West, Texas.

Willie Mae was devoted to her work for 39 years as an assistant for Dr. Charles J. Hollub.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Nemec of 40 years; brothers, Woodrow Adam, Victor Adam and Lawrence Adam;

Survived by her sisters, Irene J. May, Evelyn F. Woodard and Angeline A. Thompson; Sister-in-law, Judy Adam; nephews, Ken Adam, Doyle Adam, Michael Woodard and Craig Thompson; nieces, Cynthia Ocker and husband Mark, Cheryl Lynne Omtvedt, Angela Horak and husband Kelly; thirteen, great-grand nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers, Craig Thompson, Kelly Horak, Mark Ocker, Ken Adam, Doyle Adam, Michael Woodard, Tom Bowen and Demmitt Merrill. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in the chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77079 with Dr. Gail Harrelson, officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour before service. Interment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Crosby United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1385 Crosby, Texas 77532, 281-328-2616.
