Doris "Dory" Monica Asher, 92, Attica, passed away in the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:25 a.m.
Doris was born in Holland, Michigan on February 12, 1924. She was raised and educated in Holland, moving to Attica in 1953.
On June 7, 1947, Doris married Richard L. Asher in Holland, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2011.
She leaves behind six children, Monica (Marvin) Lucas, El Teresa M. (Gary) Brown, Richard L. (Sigrid) Asher, Gregory W. (the late Marge) Asher, Jeffrey P. (Amy) Asher and Bruce W. (Karen) Asher; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna M. Jordan and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
