Mrs. Samuel Fravel
Mrs. Minnie Fravel, 85, widow of Samuel Fravel, 526 Frederick St., Flemington, died yesterday at 1:45 p.m. in Green Grove Nursing Home, Neptune, N.J.
She had been making her home with a son, Ardell, at 307 Deal Ave., Neptune, where she suffered a stroke last November, and entered the nursing home Dec. 17.
Mrs. Fravel was born in St. Marys, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hiney [Ada Ferguson]. She had lived in Flemington 60 years. Five years ago she went to make her home with a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Ferry in Illinois, and last June she came east to be with her son in Neptune.
She was a member of the Church of Christ at Nittany.
Surviving with Ardell Fravel and Mrs. Ferry, of Mt. Prospect, Ill., are these additional sons and daughters, Floyd, Williamsport; Melvin, Charlton; Mrs. Florence Walizer, Bradley Beach, NH and Mrs. Thelma Boyer, Lock Haven; also eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A brother and two sisters are Charles Hiney, Tyrone; Mrs. Margaret Setiner, Jersey Shore, and Mrs. Edna Van Bruen, Milwaukee, Wis.
FUNERAL-FRAVEL-Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Yost Funeral Home in Lock Haven for Mrs. Minnie Fravel, 85, widow of Samuel Fravel, 526 Frederick St., Flemington, who died at the Green Grove Nursing Home, Neptune, NJ on Tuesday, April 30, 1968. Evangelist Darrell W. Bolin will officiate. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
