Annie Ruth Pruett, 86, of Kewanna passed away at 1:54 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.

Born January 11, 1931 in Smithville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charles Eli and Hattie Byrd (Green) Judkins.

On September 29, 1951, she married Earl “Buck” Pruett. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2014.

Annie retired from RBM in Logansport after 40 years. She also formerly worked in home health care.

Annie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of Church of God in Rochester.

Survivors include son, Jack Pruett of Logansport, daughter LaDonna Lachance (Christopher) of Kewanna, grandchildren, Scott Imler, Chrystle Lachance and Mariah Lachance and great granddaughter, Payton Imler.

She was also preceded in death by sisters, Delphene Padgett and Cloe Cantrell and brothers, Jim Judkins, JC Judkins and Gentry Judkins.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Rev. Larry Pyeatt officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.
