Mr. Lascelles Lee “Owen” Dyer, Jr. was born in Jamaica on January 15, 1963 to  the parentage of Lascelles Dyer and Hermine Dyer.Owen  attended school in Kingston Jamaica at Donald Quarrie Secondary School and completed high school at Lakeland Senior High School.

He later obtained his BA, degree in Organizational Management, at Warner Southern College, Lake Wales, FL and earned  his MBA, at the  Metropolitan University; Lakeland, FL with Honors.  Furthermore, he also completed a Master Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Villanova),Lean Six Sigma Methodology-Black Belt (Villanova),,Lean Six Sigma Methodologies – Green Belt with project and third certification (BMGI),,Forklift Operation and Safety Certification,,FMC Aseptic Processing Certification, Safety Leadership Certificate ,Training in Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment, HACCP Certificate, GMP, Sanitation Training, LRQA OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor Training, International Who’s Who of Professional Management.

Owen has always been industrious from he was a young boy, and would always do chores for the neighbors, like painting their grills to get pocket money.  When he migrated to the United States at 16 years old, and wanted to get a part time job while in high school, he went to Ponderosa Steakhouse seeking a job 29 times, before he was finally hired.  This tells you something about Owen, he was relentless.  Afterwards, he went to work at Coke Cola Company where he started his management career. He worked in various capacities in management for over 25 years, and had risen to the position of Director. He was never satisfied with the status quo, and later entered into the career path of “Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Management”.

He believed in education and always strived for excellence, and was a very goal oriented person.

Words that could be used to describe Owen are meticulous, determination, courage, endurance, and studious.  He was blessed with synthetic abilities, and was a jack of all trades (he could be called Mr. Fix it! J ).  Also he was a good cook and would often brag about the barbeque sauce he puts on his chicken, and would say no other chicken can be compare to mine… “This puppy is bad!” … when asked what goes into the sauce, he would say, “a little bit of this” and “a little bit of that”.

Owen had a kind and caring spirit and even sponsored a child from “Food for the Poor Organization”.

His favorite sport was track and field. His pass time was playing dominoes, reading, especially the Old Testament because he believe it lay the foundation for the New Testament.  He would often enter into deep conversations about various Bible stores.  He also loved watching CNN & MSNBC, and listening to Reggae Music.
