Nancy G. Banister, 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed away January 18, 2017. She was born October 30, 1954 in Benton, Arkansas to the late William and Lottie Babbitt Ammons.

Nancy was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Fairplay Missionary Baptist Church. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time with them camping and fishing. Her occupation as a registered nurse for over twenty-nine years exemplified her desire to help others. This was also demonstrated by her love of feeding wildlife and birds. Nancy enjoyed many hobbies including flower gardening and shopping.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Gary Ammons.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of over thirty-nine years, two daughters, son, eight grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers, many more family members and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Visitation will follow service.
