A proud graduate of Duke University, Mr. Brilhart was retired from the Patent & Trade Office, where he spent his career as a patent examiner. He served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946, and in the Naval Reserves from 1947 to 1955. Upon retirement from the Patent Office in 1980, Mr. Brilhart and his wife, Ethel, saw their dreams come true as they traveled all over North America in their RV. Mr. Brilhart is survived by his two sons, Brian and William, as well as three grandchildren: John, Madeline and Griffin.
Friends are invited to a graveside service with full military honors at 10:00 am on Friday, April 21, at Quantico National Cemetery.
