CANTON - Dana G. Farnum, 83, a resident of Auburn, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2017, at Pinnacle Health Care in Canton.
He was born May 1, 1933, in Lisbon Falls, the son of Dana G. Farnum, Sr. and Valerie L. (Pike) Farnum.
Dana was a graduate of Lisbon High School.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and from 1959 to 1962 in the U.S. Army.
Dana worked as a cab driver.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert Farnam of Lewiston, Richard Farnam and his wife Jane, of Lisbon Falls, Alan Farnam and his wife Sylvia, of Plymouth, Wis.; and Gail Griggs and her husband, Randy, of Topsham; and his good friends and caretakers, Felix and Iralda Jimenez of Auburn.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Gary Farnam.
