The deceased was born in Oshkosh in November of 1870, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Haben, early settlers in the city. The elder Mr. Haben was in the clothing business. He also served three terms as mayor, 1876, 1877 and 1885, and was a member of the Wisconsin assembly.
Survivors besides the widow, Minerva, are a number of nieces and nephews, one of whom is Wendel Viall, 59 Main street, Oshkosh. A brother, Andrew, preceded him in death in 1936.
No arrangements for funeral services have been announced.
