She is survived by a son, William Curtis (Buck) Gary, Jr., and Denise of Port Aransas, TX; and two grandsons, Brian Gary and Amy of Winston-Salem, NC, and Joshua Gary of San Marcos, TX. She has one great granddaughter, Jocelyn, of Winston-Salem, NC.
She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and played for several Baptist Churches over the years, including: Charjean, Fairlawn, and Richland. She was retired from the National Bank of Commerce and worked at Memphis State University in the athletic office.
On Friday, January 20, funeral services will be held at Memorial Park.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119. "Celebrating Life....Behind the Stone Wall."
