She was a member of the Dames de Ste. Anne and the Ladies Auxiliaries Post 145. She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and knitting.
She is survived by four sons: Philip and Claire of Madawaska, Raymond and a special friend, Mimi of Frenchville, Galen and Debbie of St. Agatha, and Jeff and Joline of Augusta; four daughters, Judy and Philp Levesque of Frenchville, Mary Lou and Sean Mullen of Mass., Greta and John Dunn of Virginia, and Leta and Mark Diaz of Scarborough; 23 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren;
Therese is predeceased by her husband Romuald Fongemie; one son, James; one grandson Bryce and eight siblings.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the St Luce Catholic Church with Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating at 10 am. Condolences may be given to the family from 9-10 am. Burial will be in the Spring at the St Luce Cemetery.
