Charles Honaker was the son of John W. Honaker and Octavio Arthur. According to the Kentucky Birth Records, he was born at Chadie's Creek in Lawrence County, Kentucky on 13 December 1858. His name was also recorded as Carter in the 1860 Census and Chester in the 1870 Census. Based on his mother's information in the 1900 Census, three of her 12 children passed away prior to that year. Since Charles cannot be found in any other record after 1870, it is likely that he was one of her children who died with an approximate death date between 1870-1880 in Boyd County, Kentucky.
