John Larry Chenevert, 66, was a native of New Roads, and a resident of Cumming, Georgia. He passed away on January 3, 2017 at North Fulton Hospital in Atlanta. He had a love for animals, preferably his cavaliers, and his LSU Tigers.

John is survived by his sister, Yvonne Olinde and her husband Joseph, life partner Lee, sister-in-law Toni Chenevert. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Ethel Chenevert, brother CJ, and sister Patricia.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral services on Wednesday, January 18 2017, at St. Mary of False River Catholic Church, 348 W. Main St., New Roads, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at False River Memorial Park.
