OBITUARY--Lucille Agnes Benes, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Martin Benes, was born April 11, 1903, and passed away in a Lincoln hospital, May 24, 1938, being 35 years, one month and 12 days of age at the time of her death. She was a faithful and loving daughter and sister. She was a devout Catholic and, as long as she was able, always attended Holy Masses. She received the last rites of her church, Father Joseph J. Przudzik of Lincoln, administering the last Sacrament. Surviving are her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Martin Benes; fives sisters, Fannie V. Novak, Anna J. Schultz, Bessie A Polacek, Barbara C. Swoboda and Caroline C. Benes; also two brothers, Martin J.jr., and Charles J.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were May 27, from the home at 9:00, and in St. Vitus Church, Touhy, at 9:30. Father Charles F. Rada, was in charge. The choir of the church sang and burial was in the St Vitus cemetery. Six cousins of the deceased were pallbearers: William and James Benes, Joseph and Frank Kunsek, Jaroslav and Hubert Hain. The flower girls were also six cousins: Anna and Helen Benes, Celestine Sabatka, Caroline Vogeltanz, Rose Hain and Rose Kunasek.
