Alice Dorothy Frazier passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the age of 82. The daughter of John and Maggie Dallas Buffington, she was born October 2, 1934 in Lucien, Oklahoma.

At a very young age she and her family moved to Arcadia. She often told people that she was raised in the Arcadia blackjacks. As she became older she attended Arcadia schools graduating with the class of 1952. It was also during her high school years that she first became acquainted with Willard Frazier. At the time of her graduation Willard was working in Colorado. So plans were made, and Alice went to Colorado, to meet Willard. The two were married May 27, 1953 in Raton, New Mexico. They made their home in Rocky Ford, Colorado where they would live until the closing of the sugar plant in 1980. Then Alice and her family moved to Perry, Oklahoma where they lived until moving to Chelsea in 2006.

Over the years Alice had many accomplishments. One of which was the pride she had for helping the disabled. She actually volunteered for 25 years at the Center for disabled children. She was also an advanced quilt maker, with her quilts being cherished by all who have received them. The one she was most proud of was the Frazier family tree quilt, that was sewn by her and sister in law Beth.

She is preceded in death by her husband Willard; parents, John and Maggie, 11 brothers, 4 sisters and her beloved dog Bubba.

Survivors include her children, Jerald Frazier of Perry, Carrie Freidenberger and husband Jake of Fowler, Colorado, Trudy Juglar and husband Frank of Chelsea, and Tracey Langley of Perry; grandchildren, Tara Roberts, Derek Roberts, Blake DeWeese and wife Trisha and Charles Langley.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
