Mrs. Kathy Jo Cottrell, 51 of Ewing, Mo. died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 9:40 PM at the Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown.
The daughter of Robert Lee and Billie Joan Story Simmons she was born on February 10, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to James Luke Cottrell on July 7, 1984 in Ewing, Mo.
Kathy was of the Baptist faith. She has worked at the Lewistown Fast Stop and the Three Pines Golf Course.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Billie Joan Simmons of Lewistown, Mo.; her husband James Luke Cottrell; two sons, Christopher Simmons & wife Helen and Cory Cottrell & wife Kelsey; a daughter, Candis Cottrell; three grandchildren, Laden Simmons, Mason Cottrell, and Laina Simmons; three brothers, Kevin Simmons, Robert Simmons, and Kerry Simmons; a sister, Kristine Fulton & husband Kenny; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister-in-law, Judy Simmons, and a great-niece, Jessica Simmons.
Cremation rites were accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Arnold's Funeral Home in Lewistown, Mo. with Rev. Tim Smith officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday morning after 9 AM until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to the family of Kathy Jo Cottrell.
