Bonnie Marie Ahring, 65, of Vincennes, IN, died on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at 5:50 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, from 12 to 1 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Phillip Easton officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Ahring was born on April 8, 1951, in East St. Louis, to Frank and Marie (Hooker) Coleson. She married Aaron Ahring in 1993, and he preceded her in death.
During her career, she worked as a waitress at many restaurants and served as a motel desk clerk.
Mrs. Ahring lived in East St. Louis, Donnellson and Vincennes, IN throughout her lifetime.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ahring is survived by three daughters, Lorene (husband Russell) Stillwell of Kentucky, Wanda (husband Tim) Lewis of Vincennes, IN and Dianna Stone (fiance Johnny Perry) of Vincennes, IN; son-in-law, William Stivers; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; as well as a sister, Betty Scovill of Collinsville.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Stivers and Ginger Easton and a brother.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
