Memorial service for Agnes Virginia Augusta Henke "Aggie" Reser will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Rev. Patrick McPherson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Snyder officiating. Mrs. Reser died Friday, May 11, 2012 in Arlington, Texas. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder.

Aggie was born March 19, 1930 to Louis and Minna Sagebiel Henke in Fredericksburg, Texas. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1947. Aggie was united in marriage with J.W. Reser on April 3, 1949 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, Texas. During her military life with J.W. she traveled and lived in many states, plus Japan. The Reser family was living in Alaska when it became the 49th state.

Aggie, J.W. with son Steven returned to live on the original homestead in Snyder, OK to be near his parents in Nov. 1979. She volunteered for over 15 years at Fort Sill for the American Red Cross in the pharmacy, handing out medication for the military. Aggie enjoyed doing ceramics and knitting (afghans and slippers). She loved baking brownies, banana bread and cookies, especially to give away as gifts. Aggie was an avid Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and Texas Longhorns fan. She could be found cheering for them on every Saturday and Sunday. SHE LOVED HER SPORTS.

Aggie's pride and joys were her five children - Mike, Gary, Belinda, Robert and Steven, and the love of her life, husband, J.W. She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Reser of Herndon VA, and two sons, Robert Reser of Black Canyon City, AZ, Steven Reser of Arlington, TX and three daughter-in-laws Pat Samson of Las Vegas, NV, Karen Berry of Black Canyon City of AZ and Crystal Johnston of Arlington, TX. She also has two grand children, Cassandra Reser of Bandera, TX and Bryan Reser of Las Vegas, NV.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister and brothers - Louise Mayer, Ben Henke and Robert Henke, husband, J.W. Reser and two sons - Mike Reser and Gary Reser. Memorial contributions maybe made to the American Red Cross, 6 S.E. Lee Blvd., Lawton, OK 73501.
