Minnie Lois Gast Klocke ws born Oct. 9, 1899 in Marion Co. She was one of five children of Phillip Christian Gast, born Dec. 13, 1861, and Mattie Davis Hitt Gast, born Sept. 13, 1867. They are buried in the cemetery in Philadelphia, Mo. Minnie L. Klocke died May 30, 1986 and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Clarence. Frank and Minnie Klocke lived on a farm southwest of Leonard and farmed there for 47 years.
