Harold's family moved to Bellingham, Washington and he was a cement plant worker in 1920 and a shoe salesman in 1930.
In 1946 he married Amelia Haensgen of Mount Calvary.
They lived in Chicago where he was a locksmith for Clark and Barlow Hardware Co. until his retirement in 1961.
Harold and Amelia moved to Sun City in 1962.
He was survived by his wife Amelia, a brother Ernest of Mesa; and three sisters, Mrs Anne Buckley, Mrs. Ethel Connelly and Mrs. Ruth Christen, all out of state.
