He was a retired operator engineer for Local #181.
He is survived by his wife, his seven children, 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and eight step-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
