DEATH OF MRS. HENRY WEFEL
DECATUR, Ind. April 25 - Elizabeth Myers Wefel, wife of Henry Wefel, of Preble, died last night at ten minutes to 12, after an illness of an hour or two, of neuralgia of the head. She was born August 2,[sic 24] 1845 in Preble township, and all of her life of seventy-three years, six months, and twenty-three days, were spent in that township. The husband and the following children are living: William, Martin, August, Herman of Fort Wayne; Otto, at home; Sophia, wife of Christ Bultemeier; Mary, wife of Ernest[sic Ernst]Buuck, all of Friedheim; and Minnie, wife of Martin Haugk, of Union Township. Brothers and sisters are Henry and Christ Myers, Mrs. Fred Nahrwald [sic Nohrwold]and Mrs. Will Scheumann of Fort Wayne. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, leaving the house at 2 o'clock sun time, for the Preble Lutheran church.
