Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eddie Bradley Davis; five sons, Thurman and James P. Davis, both of Mayfield, and Andy, Kerdean and Luther Davis Jr., all of St Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Otis Sherdon of Martin, Tenn., Mrs. James Pettigrew of Kuhouka, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Prince of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Ona Cooper of Murray; and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at New Bethel Baptist Church in Graves County, of which he was a member. The Rev. Carey Puckett will officiate and burial will be in Clark Cemetery.
