He was born June 7, 1926, at Whelen Springs, a son of the late Jim Crump and Mirtie Bell Riter Crump.
He was a retired dozier operator.
He was a member of Leola United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Crump; two daughters, Floy Carolyn Springer of Sheridan and Pamela Vails of Russellville; one son, Floyd Wayne Crump; four stepchildren; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
