Catherine A. Ewing, 87, formerly of Medina, passed away December 21, 2016. She was born March 5, 1929 in Willard, OH to the late Asa and Helen (Grose) Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family
Catherine is survived by her daughter Venis Tate; foster daughter Patricia (Paul) Payne; grandchildren Jessie Vandorn, Jamie Thomas, Trista and Trina Yarman, Sonja (Wayne Potter) Halstead, Debora Wise, and Stephanie Payne; six great grandchildren; and her son-in-law Brian Thomas.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alan H. Ewing; her daughter Janis Ewing-Thomas; her grandson Charles Payne and her son-in-law Robert Tate.
Graveside services will be held 10:45 am, January 11, 2017 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, OH 44273. Please meet at the cemetery Welcome Center at 10:35 am.
