Jacqueline West Williams, 68, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 1997 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald L. Williams; her parents, George Lewis West Sr. and Martha Estelle Nesbitt West; a brother, George Lewis West Jr.; and a sister, Anne Carol Terrell.

She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda W. and David T. Murray, Valerie W. and Christopher A. Gaston; four grandsons, Sean M. and Eric D. Murray, all of Roanoke, Bruce A. and Brandon J. Abbatello, Winthrop, Western Australia; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma W. and John A. Compton, Woodbridge; three dear friends, Dorothy Kirby, Salem, Martha Whitesell, Roanoke, Goldie Arrington, Salem.

Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 1997. Dr. Alton Washington will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
