A.D. Been, Jr. was born October 23, 1938 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma to Albert Donnie Been and Iva Marie (Speer) Been. He passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Mr. Been was a lifelong resident of Okfuskee County. He and Shirley Sue Bogle were married April 23, 1958 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Mr. Been was the owner and operator of Been Construction and also a rancher and farmer. He loved operating a track hoe and enjoyed singing. He was also a member of the Welty Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sue Casey and one brother, Derel Been. Funeral services for A.D. will be held Friday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Welty Church of God. Interment will follow at the Welty Cemetery in Welty, Oklahoma.
