Gail Colleen Prunty, 60, of Moline, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.

Gail was born on Dec. 24, 1956, in Davenport, the daughter of Fred and Virginia Marlow Prunty. She worked as an RN for Moline Public Hospital as well as in Arizona for 31 years, retiring in 2010.

Gail was a music lover and a true child of the '60s. The Rolling Stones, Lynard Skynard and Arlo Guthrie were among her favorites. She also loved to watch her shows on TV, especially "The Real Housewives," "Law & Order" and the judge shows. Above all, Gail loved to spend time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Prunty, Arizona; brother, Wayne (Patsy) Prunty, Moline; nephew, Russ (Bava) Atkinson; great-nephew, Josiah "JoeJoe"; special friends, Paula Maddox and her daughter, Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two beloved dogs, Snoopy and Sparky.
