Claymon S. Kear Claymon S. Kear, 65, of 2248 Trower Ave. , died Saturday at Queen of the Valley Hospital following a long illness. Born in Georgia, Mr. Kear was reared in Clayton, N.M. He was married in Clayton in 1936. In 1939 he came to Napa and worked at Mare Island during World War II. He was employed by Souza & McGah as a carpenter. He retired in 1968. Mr. Kear was a member of the Carpenters Union Local No. 2114 of Napa. His wife, Leona Kear of Napa, survives with three sons: Roy Dale, Grady T. and George Kear, all of Napa. He leaves three brothers: Lee Kear of Albuquerque, N.M.; Beecher Kear of Moore, Okla.; and Clifford Kear of Clayton. Four grandchildren survive. One son, Billy R. Kear, died in 1970. Friends are invited to attend the funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Richard Pierce F uneral Service. The Rev. Geoffrey Ratcliffe will officiate. Interment will be in Tulocay Cemetery.
