Clyde F. Bucklin, 73, of 120 E. Fair Ave., died this morning in St. Luke's Hospital.
Mr. Bucklin was born July 9, 1889 in Augusta, Wis., and came to Marquette from Minneapolis in 1920. He was employed by the Soo Line and Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic Railroads for 53 years, retiring in 1957.
Active Mason.
He was a member of Marquette lodge no. 101, Free and Accepted Masons; Marquette Chapter No. 43, Royal Arch Masons; Marquette Council No. 72, RSM; the Francis M. Moore Consistory and Ahmed Temple Shrine.
Mr. Bucklin is survived by his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Helen) McKenzie, Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Magnus (Katherine) Carlson, Waterville, Ohio; two sons, William and Clyde Jr., Marquette; his mother, Mrs. Durward Bucklin, Minneapolis, who was 100 years old in January; a sister, Miss Mary Kay Bucklin, Minneapolis; six grandsons and four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Thursday.
Services will be held at 1 Thursday afternoon in the Swanson Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Adams Alford, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
