Joan E. Neagle, age 73, passed away December 3, 2016.

The family will accept guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Chapel at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2016. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Joan was born on March 20, 1943 to Emma and John E. Cope in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Joan was a loving mother and wife.

She worked for several abstract companies throughout the region and was a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association for many years. She enjoyed her work and after marrying Edward Neagle commenced to travel with him all over west Texas and eastern New Mexico. They spent many days and weekends and some holidays on well sites during their marriage. She was home much more often when grandkids started to arrive and loved taking care of them.

Joan is survived by her brother, Eddie Cope and wife, Frannie Cope; her children, Edwin Guy Faught and wife, Janet Faught; Jo Caye Anderson and husband, Bob Anderson; Tina Columbus and husband, Enrico Columbus; and her husband’s children, Dale E. Neagle and wife, Joan Y. Neagle, and Tanya S. Johnson and husband, Maynard D. Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Neagle, her children’s father, Albert M. Faught and her sister, Freye McGuyer.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to the National Parkinson Foundation (Parkinson.org).

Pallbearers will be Edwin G. Faught, Caleb Faught, Eiot Faught, Bob Anderson, Eli Anderson and Enrico Columbus.
