Aaron Nunez Cardozo emigrated to NY in 1752. He later lived in Wilton, CT & Richmond, VA. He was a wealthy merchant of Spanish-Jewish heritage. Aaron was the founder of the American branch of the Cardozo family.
Aaron married Sarah Nunez Navaro in London, 12 Sept 1739. Sarah was b. 25 July 1722; d. 23 May 1761. Sarah was the daughter of Isaac Nunes Navaro & Rebecca Cardozo.

Moses Nunez Cardozo; b. 22 Feb 1755; d. 11 Jan 1818.
Abraham Nunez Cardozo; b. 22 Nov 1758, NY; d. 8 Apr 1816, Richmond.
 
Some sources indicate there was another son Aaron Nunez Cardozo who could possibly be: Aaron Nunez Cardozo; b. 1762; d. 1834; a wealthy English merchant, settled in Gibraltor where he was a leader of the Jewish community and served as consul to the beys of Tunis and Algiers.
